Discrete Wire Harness and Cable Assemblies Wire harnesses come in all styles and sizes to address a multitude of applications. Preparation of single, multi-wire harnesses and cable assemblies consists of raw materials such as wire, terminals, connectors, active components, shielding, loom, labels and much more. Build methods include soldering, welding, crimping, tie wrapping, taping, bundling, molding and potting. At MJM, we have the equipment and expertise necessary to build a cable to meet your requirements.

Process and Techniques MJM Industries has an equipment inventory capable of building your order on a timely basis, whether you need one piece or hundreds of thousands. Our tooling inventory includes hand crimpers, terminating presses, molding presses, automated wire and cable processing machines and many others.

Testing Methods Normal electrical testing methods include continuity, short, Hi-Pot and component tests on Cirris, Cablescan and Dynalab equipment. Mechanical tests include pull force, bend tests and pin and socket insertion with use of calibrated gages. Upon special request, test sheets, certificates of conformance and serial numbering can be provided. All testing and documentation at MJM Industries conforms to UL, CSA, and our ISO 9001:2000 standards.

Packaging Common packaging methods include bulk corrugated containers with bar code labels on the outer surface. Labeling information includes part number, revision level, quantity, description and traceability code. MJM can provide any type of custom lables or bar coding. In addition we are able to custom package into poly and anti-static bags to meet your needs.
